ERPC Applies R&D-Driven Performance Boost to All High-Performance VPS Lineups Across All Regions — 150–200ms P99 Latency Improvement Observed, Prices Unchanged in Product Renewal

ERPC, operated by ELSOUL LABO B.V. (Headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands; CEO: Fumitake Kawasaki) and Validators DAO, is pleased to announce a full-lineup performance boost for Premium VPS, EPYC VPS, and SUPER VPS, applied across all regions based on R&D outcomes.
Following this update, P99 latency improvements of 150–200ms have been observed in stream workflow testing. Prices remain unchanged — this is delivered as a product renewal.
Performance Boost Overview
Comprehensive Elimination of Power-Saving and Performance-Throttling Features
This performance boost is founded on a design principle of thoroughly eliminating all power-saving and performance-throttling functionality.
Commercial VPS offerings are typically built with conservative defaults that prioritize stability, power efficiency, and general-purpose versatility. While this is reasonable for general-purpose workloads, in Solana's high-frequency processing environment — where every millisecond counts — these conservative settings become a direct ceiling on performance.
ERPC's high-performance VPS now applies a configuration that eliminates power-saving and performance-throttling features at every layer: CPU C-state disabling, CPU governor locked to performance mode, kernel parameter optimization, network stack tuning, and memory configuration optimization — extracting maximum speed from every resource.
150–200ms P99 Latency Improvement Observed
Following the application of this performance boost, P99 latency improvements of 150–200ms have been observed in stream workflow testing. In Solana, latency improvements at this scale directly affect transaction landing order — a decisive competitive advantage in high-frequency trading, DeFi, and real-time processing.
By eliminating power-saving and performance-throttling features, the VPS now achieves performance approaching that of bare metal servers. While the virtualization layer remains, systematically removing the host-side factors that were constraining speed has significantly narrowed the performance gap with bare metal. With bare metal server inventory limited, this makes the VPS an even more compelling option for obtaining premium performance.
Target Regions and Configurations
The performance boost has been applied to all Premium VPS, EPYC VPS, and SUPER VPS configurations across all six regions:
- Frankfurt
- Amsterdam
- London
- New York
- Singapore
- Tokyo
Each product retains its distinct characteristics — Premium VPS for highest-clock performance, EPYC VPS for cost-effective operation, and SUPER VPS for balanced performance — while all lineups now receive speed-first tuning.

Premium VPS — all configurations maintain the quality standard of the industry's highest-clock 5.7GHz CPU, ECC DDR5 memory, NVMe4 SSD, 25Gbps × 2 network, unlimited traffic, zero over-commitment, and zero-distance communication with the ERPC Solana RPC platform. Prices remain unchanged — only performance has improved in this product renewal.

A Design Philosophy Where Speed Is the First Requirement
The Fundamental Difference from Commercial VPS
Commercial VPS products are designed with stability and versatility as their first requirement. This is the right choice for many use cases, but in domains like Solana high-frequency trading — where milliseconds determine outcomes — the design philosophy itself must be different.
ERPC's high-performance VPS is designed with speed as its first requirement. Computer optimization involves trade-offs, and what you prioritize determines how deep your edge can go. Our first requirement is speed, and improving that speed is our mission.
To achieve this, we avoid the conservative design choices common in general-purpose VPS products and concentrate our tuning on speed. This is a professional-use product for professional users whose value is directly tied to speed.

Speed-First Design and Operational Safety
Prioritizing speed as the first requirement does not mean data loss is acceptable.
The advancement of open source, the spread of best practices, the growth of shared technical knowledge, and the emergence of AI agents have made it increasingly accessible — even at the individual level — to maintain backups, scale through node splitting, and improve resilience.
However, as AI agents rapidly expand the developer base, these operational practices should no longer remain accessible only to those with specialized knowledge. We recognized that the time has come to change the environment itself.
SLV is evolving as the open-source tool that provides this environmental foundation. Regardless of expertise level, safe operations should be the default — and SLV delivers that infrastructure. A new feature enabling hands-free node backup through SLV is planned for release in the near future.
Blockchain development is directly adjacent to finance, where hacking and vulnerability issues occur on a daily basis. As blockchain technology expands into RWA and other domains as the foundation supporting digital assets, SLV will continue to evolve as a comprehensive Solana development tool — enabling secure application development without requiring constant vigilance.
SLV currently supports the launch, operation, and zero-downtime migration of all major Solana validator types and Solana RPC nodes. All features are MCP-compatible and available for use by AI agents. Going forward, SLV will expand as an AI agent-era open-source tool effective for Solana dApp development and high-frequency trading application development.

Maintenance Notice
This performance boost has been applied to the majority of VPS instances across all regions. For some instances with high utilization, maintenance will be conducted in stages — customers will be contacted individually to ensure safe migration.
When performance improvements are of this magnitude, design-level changes may be involved. Please back up any critical data in advance and read any notification emails carefully. We recommend maintaining regular backups as a matter of best practice.
Five Consecutive Years of WBSO Approval — R&D Outcomes Directly Reflected in Performance
ELSOUL LABO has received approval under the Dutch government's WBSO R&D support program for five consecutive years since 2022. Ongoing research includes ultra-low-latency Solana RPC infrastructure R&D and automation of validator placement and operational orchestration, with outcomes directly reflected in platform performance improvements.
This high-performance VPS performance boost is the implementation of knowledge accumulated through this R&D. The results of R&D are cumulative, and the rate of improvement accelerates over time.
The Next-Generation Option — AS200261 Solana-Optimized Data Center
ELSOUL LABO has been assigned its own ASN (AS200261) by RIPE NCC and is proceeding with the opening of a Solana-optimized top-tier data center. Designed as infrastructure that surpasses existing premium data centers, it is expected to become available from the end of this month through next month.
With hardware unified on the latest-generation AMD EPYC 5th Gen, AMD Threadripper PRO 5th Gen (9975WX, etc.), and NVMe 5th Gen, combined with optimal network route design through our own ASN, it delivers on both performance and ASN concentration score — conditions previously considered mutually exclusive.
The initial lot is sold out, but subsequent inventory will be offered in waitlist order.
